Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox had studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She lived off of the student allowance, and relied in part-time jobs to increase her budget. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different direction she would take. Lennox started her professional career in 1976 in a band called Dragons Playground. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. The album came out in 1992. The album had a tremendous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues and soul from early childhood. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her first self-produced album as well as a follow-up to her art work created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go... Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to become famous internationally in the 1980s with the Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992 by releasing an album titled Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and Why. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features covers of tracks like No MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums as well as her compilation album contain a variety of tracks.
