Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. Sheedy made her debut as an actor in Bad Boys in 1983. Following that, she was an active member of the Brat pack, and was a part of WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art won her the Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading role. Sheedy got married to David Lansbury (the nephew of Angela Lansbury) on April 12,1992. He is also the son of Edgar Lansbury, who was originally the producer of Godspell. They also have one son, Beckett who was born in 1994. Sheedy believes she learnt a lot from Beckett's journey. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American film and stage actress in addition to the author of two works. Most famous is her role in the Bratpack film The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club, a John Hughes Movie? The title of the film, "The Breakfast Club", is a play on the name of a school for detention. They are expected to arrive in detention around the time of breakfast. They are the Next Generation. Sheedy has become an educator. She's taken acting students to her classes in the City College of New York City.
